Website update.

I’ve been meaning to update the look of my site for a while now and I’ve finally found a theme that is both pleasant to look at and isn’t too different from the old one. So, may I present: The new Tardis Remakes website. Tadahh! 🙂

For a while (don’t know how long though) I’ve had a problem with the site that meant not everyone could access it (not related to the change of theme). The problem is solved now and the site will no longer block visitors. I think it was a plugin I used, that banned certain IP adresses from posting, which I used to keep the worst spammers out, but unfortunately it seems it kept innocent people out too. Oops.

That means that for the past month I’ve been getting a lot more spam than I’m used to (which Akismet does catch…but still) so now I’ve changed it so you have to sign up if you want to post a comment. Annoying, yes, but perhaps I will keep some of the spammers out and that would make me a happier person.

Death to all spammers!..may you all die violent and painfully!

On a more positive note I’m happy to say that work is progressing nicely on Neon Invasion Earth. Funny how ones plans can get all out of whack all of a sudden. This was just a little fun throaway idea that was supposed to be finished in two weeks, but now it’s been 4½ months. *sigh*

…it should be finished before the end of this year though. 😉

(Very) small update

See, this is why I’ve made a ‘Works in progress‘ section – so readers don’t have to go through the newspages to see if there’s anything in development.
Now it’s easier to spot and I’ve just updated the section with X-Quest 2 which I’m working on (sometimes).

Also, I found the time to update the games pages, so they all look right now. Who would’ve thought it would be f****d all up just because I edited the stylesheet to allow for wider posts.
…like I’ve ‘always’ said “I you want problems, get a computer“. 🙂

Wow, an update…and big changes.

Sir Lancelot
Hello, and welcome…

Everyone is blogging these days and now even I’ve changed my homepage to a blog.
Wohoo…no limit to my imagination.
🙂
These pages will primarily contain the results of my games programming – finished ones and previews of new ones (you will find my games in the menu to the right).

Now, if you’re a regular visitor you’ll have noticed that I haven’t really been updating the site that often – normally I don’t talk too much about what I’m working on, and only post whenever I’ve completed a game, but I hope that the change to a blog format will inspire me to update the page a little more often.

The plan, to begin with anyway, is to try and post something (at least) on a weekly basis. Not necessarily updates on what I’m working on, but also reviews, comments and thoughts on what’s going on in the world of remakes …and perhaps a rant from time to time…I’m good at that.
😉
Project Future is almost done and it won’t be long before it’s released.
The same goes for my remake of Rip Off which is about 95% complete.

Stay tuned….
